New Directors and Promotions Sara Hibbs has been named Director of Conference Services. Before serving in this role, she worked as the Events Manager for the Religious Freedom Institute in Washington, D.C., serving as the primary planner for their major gala. She also planned a variety of different events ranging from student seminars, conferences, book launches, and panel discussions in the D.C. area. She is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco, TX, with a B.A. in International Studies. Jennifer Chaput ’04 has been promoted to Adult & Graduate Studies (AGS) Senior Advisor. In this role, she is now leading the AGS advising team in creating programming for students and organizing support. She previously served as AGS Academic Advisor. Emily (Rodgers) Sherwood ’99 (1) has been promoted to Director of Development and Alumni Engagement where her role has expanded to include fundraising, donor relations and scholarships, as well as working with her first love – alumni. She has served at Bethel for 13 years, most recently as Director of Alumni Relations. Kristie Nave ‘14 has been named Assistant Director of Development and Alumni Engagement. In this role, she will be assisting with the functions of the Institutional Advancement office, building relationships with alumni, hosting events and creating opportunities for alumni and donors to connect with Bethel. Cameron Matteson ‘15 (2) has been promoted to Director of Infrastructure Services where he will continue work on developing and maintaining behind-the-scenes systems and looking at ways Bethel's technical infrastructure needs to be changed as technologies advance. He previously served as Infrastructure Support Engineer. Jeff Salisbury ‘03 (3) has been promoted to Director of Everest-Rohrer where he will partner with Conference Services and Audio-Visual to plan and execute campus events as well as manage the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center and the Paqui & Brian Kelly Auditorium. He previously served as Event Technologies Manager. Andrea Blake '08, '18 (4) has been promoted to Director of User Support where she will serve as the primary contact for tech support and IT projects, and she will continue to oversee help desk personnel. She previously served as the Help Desk Coordinator. Retirements Bill and Debbie Jones are retiring in August as full-time missionaries-in-residence after serving Bethel for 25 years.
