Esther L. Adam (attended ’51-’53 and ’59), age 89, of Wakarusa, Ind., died Tues., Nov. 8, 2022, at Miller's Merry Manor. She was born March 30, 1933, in Lewellen, Neb., to Daniel and Stella (Siebert) Brenneman. On Aug. 23, 1952, she married Charles B. Adam and he died Jan. 8, 2013. Surviving are two sons, a VRQ LQ ODZ HOHYHQ JUDQGFKLOGUHQ IRXU JUHDW JUDQGFKLOGUHQ DQG D VLVWHU LQ ODZ Her parents, husband Charles Adam, daughter Mary Beth Breske and siblings Howard (Lois) Brenneman, Herber Brenneman and David Brenneman preceded her in death. Esther was a homemaker and former minister's wife while Charles was pastor of Oak Grove Missionary Church. She attended Bethel Missionary Church and was a member of Sharing Citizens of Wakarusa. Esther participated for many years in a Bible study group and attended Bethel University. Her family was especially important to her. Beverly Jean Bollenbacher ’69, age 75, of Osceola, Ind., passed away at Eastlake Nursing Home on Sept. 14, 2022. She was born March 8, 1947, in Hollywood, Fla., to the late Floyd and Doris (Holderman) Landis. On July 18, 1970, she married Charles Bollenbacher in Union, Mich. They recently celebrated 57 years of marriage. Charles survives, along with their children Kevin (Lisa) Bollenbacher, of Puerto Penasco, Mexico, Andrew (Anitra) Bollenbacher of Osceola, Ind., and Charla (Lucas) Hack of Columbia, S.C. Surviving as well DUH KHU VLEOLQJV KHU VLVWHU LQ law and numerous nieces and nephews. Her brother, Norman Landis, preceded her in death. Following her graduation from Edwardsburg High School, Beverly earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education IURP %HWKHO 8QLYHUVLW\ 6KH WDXJKW IRU ƃYH \HDUV EHIRUH EHFRPLQJ D VWD\ DW KRPH mother. Once her children were grown, she took a position with CHASE Bank, training tellers for more than 12 years. Following her retirement, she took a SDUW WLPH SRVLWLRQ ZLWK 0DUWLQŠV Supermarkets, Heritage Square, where she assisted customers in navigating the store daily.When her grandchildren were born, she once more retired to take care of them, as well as her Aunt 3K\OOLV ZKR EHJDQ WR VXƂHU from dementia. A woman of great faith, Beverly enjoyed spending time at River Valley Church, where she attended for more than 20 years. Stacy A. Bone ’04, age 42, of Mishawaka, Ind., passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 23, 2022. Stacy was born on May 22, 1980, to Solomon Jr. “Sox” and Nancy Bone and was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda, his parents, and grandparents. Stacy was the Director of Event Technologies at Bethel 8QLYHUVLW\ ZKHUH KH IXOƃOOHG his passion of mentoring and teaching students in technology and theatre arts. Stacy enjoyed road trips and music, exploring DUFKLWHFWXUH UHOD[LQJ LQ FRƂHH shops, reading theatre scripts, debating any and every topic with family and friends, exploring new technology, cooking for others, sneaking away to movies for the buttered popcorn and searching for any way to spoil his nephews. Stacy is survived by his loving EURWKHU 7UDYLV VLVWHU LQ ODZ .DUL nephews TJ and Keegan Bone, extended family, kindred heart, Kristy, and many friends.We will miss his pithy humor, quick quips, penchant for trouble, and smiling eyes, but mostly the genuine kindness he exuded and the intentional friendships he nurtured. He is loved and he is missed. Amelia Josephine (Huston) Laureys ’18, of South Bend, Ind., passed away Jan. 30, 2023, at the age of 28, surrounded by those she loved. She was born Aug. 5, 1994. She married her beloved Brandon Michael /DXUH\V RQ 1RY 6KH is survived by her husband, her parents, Amanda (Brian) Rutherford and Pascual Huston, two brothers, as well as a sister. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, maternal great grandmothers, and her paternal grandparents. She is preceded in death, but reunited in heaven, by her son. Amelia graduated from St. Joseph High School and went on to graduate from Bethel University. Amelia's life will be remembered by her deep and unwavering love for her family. She loved spending time with her devoted husband and her extended family. She loved and enjoyed spending summers at Diamond Lake with her parents, siblings and friends. She loved to travel, highlighted by her favorite trip, her honeymoon to Barbados. Siesta Key, Fla., also had a special place in her heart. She doted on her husband, packing his lunches and sharing her love of food with him. She was a gracious and thoughtful host and a planner.Whether it was planning vacations for friends, dinners or bridal showers for her loved ones, she found great joy in making others feel loved. She reserved a special place in her heart for her two dogs, Jack and Jill. Ila Marie (Severn) Lee ’52, age 101.5, passed away Dec. 12, 2022.
