NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Women’s Soccer – 2025 NCCAA D1 National Champions
The Women’s Soccer Team dominated from start to finish at the 2025 NCCAA Division I National Championship in Kissimmee, Fla., winning all four matches, capped off by a 3-0 title game victory over Southwestern Christian University on Saturday, December 6. This is the Pilots’ second national championship in program history (the first was in 2023). These wins bring Bethel Pilot Athletics to 54 team national championships.
Women’s Golf – 2025 NCCAA National Champions
The Women’s Golf Team won their fourth NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association) National Championship in five years (2025, 2023, 2022, 2021) on October 22 in Palm Coast, Fla.
GRANT SUPPORTS NURSING PROGRAM RANKED #1 IN THE NATION
Bethel University has been awarded a $200,000 matching grant from a local foundation to renovate, upgrade and expand its nursing, biology and chemistry labs. This renovation will support and expand Bethel’s Nursing program, which is ranked No. 1 in the United States and Indiana based on 100% of graduates passing the BSN NCLEX (national licensure exam). It will also support Bethel’s science programs.
LEADING THE WAY FOR LITERACY
The Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bethel University, making it the first undergraduate institution in the nation to offer Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP) certification for bachelor of arts in education graduates.
BETHEL AWARDED LILLY ENDOWMENT INC. GRANT TO CONTINUE SERVING YOUTH IN OUR COMMUNITY
Bethel University was awarded $91,020 from Lilly Endowment Inc. through Indiana Youth Programs on Campus (IYPC). This was the second round of funding for this initiative. Because of the grant, Bethel will continue to expand camp capacity and opportunities while offering income-based scholarships to St. Joseph County residents.

For the 22nd consecutive year, Bethel University has been recognized by U.S. News on its annual Best Colleges list. For 2026, Bethel is ranked among the Midwest’s Best Regional Universities, distinguished in the top 20 for social mobility and ranked for its nursing program.
Colleges of Distinction
Bethel University has been named a College of Distinction, awarded to schools whose commitment to engaged, experiential education sets them apart. Bethel has also been named a Christian College of Distinction, an Indiana College of Distinction, an International College of Distinction and recognized for Business, Education and Nursing.

Bethel University has been named to Money Magazine’s 2025 list of “Best Colleges,” ranked by value.
Washington Monthly
Bethel University has been ranked by Washington Monthly as a 2025 “Best Bang for the Buck – Midwest” college. Bethel has also been ranked a “Best College for Your Tuition (and Tax) Dollars” and on the “Best Master’s Degree” list.
