Community Impact Report | 7 BETHEL UNIVERSITY BethelUniversity.edu U.S. NEWS TOP TIER COLLEGE FOR 16TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR • Bethel earned the 30th spot among the Midwest’s Best Regional University in the 2020 U.S. News Best Colleges ranking. This is the 16th consecutive year that Bethel has been recognized as a Top Tier university on this annual list. • Bethel was also ranked No. 3 on the list of “Top Performers on Social Mobility – Regional Universities Midwest.” This is a new ranking created by U.S. News to evaluate which schools are best serving underrepresented students. WASHINGTON MONTHLY “BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK” AND “TOP MASTER’S UNIVERSITIES” • For the fourth year in a row, Washington Monthly has ranked Bethel University on its annual list of the “Best Bang for the Buck Colleges - Midwest.” • Bethel is also one of two Indiana schools to appear in the top 200 on the guide’s “Top Master’s Universities” list, which ranked Bethel No. 73 in the nation, higher than any other Indiana college or university. RANKED NO. 29 IN THE NATION AS A BEST CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY • Bethel University is ranked No. 29 on the national list of “Best Christian Colleges & Universities” by College Consensus. • The ranking combines the published rankings of a wide selection of trusted media outlets with the more trustworthy student review sites. NATIONAL COLLEGES OF DISTINCTION • Bethel University is one of 10 Indiana colleges to be recognized as a 2019 College of Distinction and one of 58 schools in the nation to be named a Christian College of Distinction. • Additionally, Bethel received program-specific recognition in business, education and nursing. RANKED 14TH-BEST NAIA SCHOOL FOR STUDENT- ATHLETES BY NCSA • Bethel University has been named one of the best schools in the U.S. for student-athletes, according to the Next College Student- Athlete (NCSA), the country's largest and most successful college athletic recruiting network. • The 2019 NCSA Power Rankings ranked Bethel No. 14 in the NAIA; No. 2 in Men’s Track & Field and No. 2 in Women’s Lacrosse.
