EXCITING CHANGES Welcome Center - Plans are underway for the Van & Jean Gates Welcome Center, an addition to the current Admission Office. As the first stop for campus visitors, it will feature an outdoor courtyard and a large, interactive show room where students and families will learn about Bethel. Construction to be completed by fall 2019. Bethel University – In September, the Board of Trustees announced its unanimous decision to begin operating under a new name, Bethel University. The name change is effective May 6, 2019, with branding and signage updates happening through fall and spring semesters.
