Hoops and Hot Dogs 2018 For the third year, we teamed up with the men’s basketball team to offer Hoops and Hot Dogs in three cities. Alumni gathered in Mishawaka, Fort Wayne, and Indianapolis for dinner and a game. It was great to see so many families as we made our way across Indiana! Remembering RayWeaver In September, we celebrated the legacy of former Bethel College Professor of Music and Fine Arts Ray Weaver. Close to 500 alumni, friends and family were able to reminisce on the many stories of Weaver’s time at Bethel, enjoyed musical selections that honored his appreciation for and dedication to music, and celebrated the Grand Opening of the Raymond Weaver Glass Collection, a gift from his family. Alumni Dinner - Fiesta at the Helm Our annual alumni dinner had a festive atmosphere as guests enjoyed a salsa bar, stations of Mexican food, and a live Mariachi band. We enjoyed hearing from our three award recipients (Randy Lehman ’82, Alumnus of the Year; Jorge ’10 and Caron ’09 Marquez (pictured), Young Alumni of the Year; and Michaela Murray ’12, Timothy Award for Service); and reconnecting with Bethel friends.
