Sheila Wise Rowe has a Master’s degree in Counseling and is the Executive Director of The Rehoboth House, an international healing and reconciliation ministry.  Sheila has over twenty-five years of experience as a Christian Counselor, Spiritual Director, Educator, Writer, and Speaker.  

Sheila is a member of The Redbud Writers Guild and writes essays for The Redbud Post. She co-authored with her husband Dr. Nicholas Rowe the book, The Well of Life: Heal Your Pain, Satisfy Your Thirst, Live Your Purpose .  Sheila has also written for The Boston GlobeThe Art of TalehMudroomblog.com and READY Publication. Sheila’s essay; Awakened to Adventure is in the anthology by Leslie Leyland Fields entitled; The Wonder Years: 40 Women Over 40 on Aging, Faith, Beauty and Strength.  

Sheila has written a new book about healing from racial trauma. Healing Racial Trauma: The Road to Resilience released by InterVarsity Press (IVP). 

Through individual sessions, groups, conferences, retreats and writing the Lord has transformed the lives of thousands of individuals, couples, families, partnership churches, and organizations in the USA, Paris, France and Johannesburg, South Africa. 

When Sheila is not counseling or writing she is creating art, crafts or searching for treasures in thrift shops.
