On November 14, 2025, Dee McDonald, Ph.D. was inaugurated as Bethel University’s ninth president in a ceremony that was focused on prayer, worship and honoring the past while looking to the future. The ceremony was held during Bethel’s Alumni, Friends & Family Weekend, which included Men’s and Women’s basketball games and the Music & Theatre department’s performance of “Into the Woods.”
