Transforming Minds and Hearts in Romania
As manager of Grace Christian School in Lagoj, Romania, Emanuel Olariu ’08 has seen the power of lives transformed through Christian education. He helped start the school with just 32 students after graduating from Bethel. Nine years later, the school has grown to 430 students – from preschool to eighth grade – and 80 staff members.

Pilot Profile: Kenton Leidy ’16 – Engineer, Musician
Kenton Leidy ’16 is the first student featured in our Pilot Profile summer series, focusing on why students chose Bethel and what they’ve gained from their course of study. Leidy was a Math/Physics major and part of our 3-2 Engineering program, in partnership with University of Notre Dame. While at Bethel, he gained real-world experience through an internship at AM General, and participated in Jazz Ensemble and Chapel Band. He is heading into his second year at Notre Dame, where he will graduate with an engineering degree in 2018.

As the retired CEO of Dicor Corporation, Gary Adamson has had many opportunities to support various nonprofit organizations over the years. He and his partners built Dicor from less than 10 employees in 1983 to more than 130 employees operating four facilities — Dicor Products, United Shade, Vixen Composites and Seal Design. The success of his business has made it possible for him to give back in ways that naturally fit the areas he and his wife, Connie, value most in life.
