Bethel Magazine Spring 2019
School) and Karl is pastor (Bethany Community Church). FROM THE ALUMNI OFFICE UPCOMING CONNECTION POINTS Dear Alumni, The school year seems to pass so quickly between issues of the Bethel magazine. Since the last issue, campus settled into the familiar rhythm of classes, social life activities, athletic events, chapels, concerts, and theatre events. Our 72nd year was a good one. Mixed in with the regular routine of the school year were several opportunities for our alumni to reconnect with each other and the college. This year’s alumni dinner was a Fiesta at the Helm, complete with a salsa bar, our annual alumni awards, and a live Mariachi band. Later in October, our Founder’s Society was invited to hear about Bethel’s future. Christian artist Mark Schultz provided entertainment and MLB All- Star and Bethel alumnus Justin Masterson, was our featured speaker. Our Founder’s Society is comprised of friends and alumni who give generously each year ($500 level and above). We’d love to see you next year at both the Alumni Dinner and Founder’s Society Dinner. Check out the dates of our upcoming events and plan to join us! We hope to see you on campus soon!
